Happy August!!!
Sorry for keeping everyone in the dark, but after the honeymoon, we moved into out new home, which was a lot of work packing and stuff, but it’s a Grand wedding present from my husband. I love my new home. And today, we finally got our traditional and wedding pictures.
So, I know everyone has been waiting and inticipating and Oh they are beautiful. Body Lawson (www.bodylawson.org) did an excellent job.
Here it is www.mywedding.com/ta062808 (my wedding website). Don’t forget to sign my guestbook.
Enjoy! And if you have any questions about any of the vendors or questions and concerns about Nigerian weddings, please leave comments on my blog. I will surely reply.

Wow! Your wedding was beautiful & all your pics! I hope to get married next year 2009. It will just be something small but nice. My fiance lives in Naija and we are looking at traditional wear for our wedding. I have to pay for everything (trip, wedding etc.) so I’m trying to budget as much as I can. I was just wondering did someone make the traditional top you had on? His favorite color is blue. I’m trying to get ideas. I’m thinking of having a top & a skirt made for me. I want something comfortable but that we both will like. I have not been to Naija but I know its very hot there from what he tells me. This will be my first everything(flight, marriage, going to Africa)…! I’m excited!!! Can’t wait to get to him!
Hope to hear from you.
Thanks!
Hmmm, all i can say is thank you.
I’ve been finding it difficult to get it into my head that i have less than 4 months but visiting your set it back right on track.
I’ll definitely fill you as we make progress.

Hi everyone,
I am planning to get married in 9ija next year am kinda of freaking out as i don’t know where to start since i currently don’t reside there. Can someone kindly recommend wedding services available in Abeokuta, Ogun state . I’m looking for a hall, photograher and caterers in that area. I’ve noticed most of the ones listed in magazines are mostly in Lagos, Abuja and Ibadan. I am not sure whether they travel with you if you’re getting married in a diff. city.
Thanks
I have been accessing your blog for a while now and am really greatly for the info i have been able to get from it. I really really am grateful. I am thinking of using Body Lawson for my photography. I like the pics on their website. I would have loved to view your pics to not only share in your joy and also to see their work’s reflection on your wedding.
Could you get back to me as am trying my best to put together a wedding from London. I am practically ”blind” but i am hoping i can pull it off. Lol!

Hey darling, nice website! I really appreciate this blog post.. I was wondering about this for a while now. This cleared a lot up for me! Do you have a rss feed that I can add?
Wow! Thank you! I always wanted to write in my site something like that. Can I take part of your post to my blog?
Hi, Tee! I have bn on ur blog for a while now and i am simply enjoying it like wow! Nice wedding pictures…..bdy lawson! (as per lag alumni we dey always reperesnt) just kidding!Yeah ur wedding decor was off the hook I must confess but i really didnt like what Ada Nwachukwu did…it really did not look so professional mayb it was ur chioce……Well nice job Tope am sure Demola is proud of u! Much luv!
Hi how is everything going!! And Happy New Year! Yes Demola is very proud that I’ve taken my passion and created a business with it. I hope you have also looked at my company website: http://www.vintageivyevents.com Definitely take a look! Also, just a bit confused. What is it that you didn’t like that Ada did? She was my make up artist for both days and she also did my gele for the engagement. I love to hear your thoughts.
One more thing does anyone know how much balmoral charges?
I know in 2008 the charge was 1million naira, but I’m not sure what the current amount is.
as in she really didnt tie the gele well like I would expect a pro to do…This is just wat i feel………..neva mind it really doesnt hold water. About ur company, thumbs up girlie! I am also going to be out with my “passion turned business” soon ppl like u give aspiring enterpreneurs like me that extra drive to aim really high.
Oh yes, I have to agree about the gele. My gele wasn’t that fantastic, but I mainly hired her for the make up she does. I love her make up style! She’s mainly a makeup artist, not a gele designer. I heard Segun Gele is the best at doing geles though.
Oh please, yes…whatever you are passionate about turn it into a business. There is always a reward. I encourage you!!!
Geez, this blog makes me jealous!
I want mine this good.
Hey check out my blog and comment…ta! http://houseofmanna.wordpress.com/
