How sweet it is!!!

The ultimate favor or additional dessert is becoming the trend that you want a taste of. A candy buffet can add fun and color to your social event or wedding. Before you begin designing your candy buffet, an important thing to remember is that it is an added expense and must be included in the planning of your event budget. You can easily hire someone else to make it since there are outside companies that specialize in building candy buffets. Next, figure out how you would like your candy buffet to look. Browse the web for pictures of others to give you more ideas. Look for unique vases, glasses, colored plastic bags, etc. Clear containers are the best to show off your candy displays. Also use containers that are wide enough for a candy scoop to fit inside. A suggestion to make the whole look pop is to use displays to raise some of the containers, giving your buffet height. Next, figure out what type of candy you will want to include at the candy buffet. You can choose to match the candy to the color scheme of your event or choose a rainbow of colors. A finishing touch to the candy buffet table would be some flowers, a frame, candles, or diamond confetti that matches your color scheme. Lastly, think about how your guests will take the candy away from the buffet. Some great suggestions are using small cellophane bags, or classic white bags, Chinese takeout boxes, or favor boxes that may match the color scheme of your event. Whatever type of container you use, make it fun and personalize it with small stickers. A candy buffet can look amazing if done right and will surely be a big hit with all the guests since it is different and unique. So whatever the occasion, a candy buffet is a crowd pleaser.

Happy November,

I’m sorry it’s been awhile. I’m completing the last few classes I have for grad school and that is taking all of my time, but I promise you, the chapter is not complete. Please continue to visit my blog especially the list of wedding websites page and Nigerian vendors page. I will always update those areas. And I must say that married life is bliss and marvelous. My husband and I’s love has not changed and I think it’s because we’ve known each other for 7 years.

But here is the focus of this blog, a Nigerian photographer who resides in England, Abi Yeni-Rotimi. His pictures are absolutely beautiful and he will be in Nigeria in December. So, if any brides or anyone is having a special event and they need a photographer in Nigeria, Abi Yeni-Rotimi is the one to contact. Please email him at info@indexphoto.co.uk and visit his website at http://www.photographybyabi.net/ or http://www.indexphoto.co.uk/weddingwebsite/.
